Carolina Predators Welcome Candice Torain as New Dance Director

RALEIGH, NC – The Carolina Predators proudly announce the appointment of Candice Torain as the organization’s new Dance Director, bringing her exceptional background in cheer and dance to lead the team’s entertainment and fan engagement efforts.


A seasoned professional with over a decade of experience, Torain has built a distinguished career as both a performer and coach. She began her journey cheering and dancing at Cummings High School before moving on to cheer at Benedict College, where she further honed her skills. Torain also spent four years with Reign Athletics, establishing herself as a respected figure in the cheer and dance community.


In addition to her performance background, Torain has a strong coaching résumé. She has coached at Woodlawn Middle School, cheered semi-professionally, and currently serves as the Dance/Cheer Director for two North Carolina teams. She is also the Head Coach and Director of Pure Intensity, a competitive stomp-and-shake team based in Burlington, NC, where she continues to mentor and inspire the next generation of performers.


As Dance Director, Torain will oversee choreography, performance production, and community appearances, ensuring that the Carolina Predators’ dance team embodies excellence both on and off the field.
