Carolina Predators Launch Youth Flag Football League in Partnership with House of Sports NC
RALEIGH, NC -
The Carolina Predators are proud to announce the official launch of their Youth Flag Football League in partnership with House of Sports NC, delivering a dynamic, high-energy development platform for young athletes across the region.
This strategic collaboration brings the excitement and expertise of professional indoor football directly to the community, as Carolina Predators players and coaches take an active role in leading a “Learn to Play” flag football program designed for youth ages 8–12.
The program is structured to create a best-in-class developmental environment where participants can build foundational football skills while experiencing the culture and intensity of the professional game.
Elevating Grassroots Football Development
The Carolina Predators’ involvement represents a deliberate investment in grassroots athlete development and community engagement. Participants will receive hands-on instruction from professional players, focusing on:
- Quarterback fundamentals and passing mechanics
- Receiving skills and ball security
- Defensive positioning and strategy
- Pass-rushing techniques
- Offensive route concepts and execution
- Game strategy across multiple formats (3v3, 5v5, 7v7)
Each session concludes with live gameplay, reinforcing skill acquisition through real-time application in a competitive yet supportive environment.
Building the Next Generation of Athletes
Flag football continues to gain national and global momentum as a fast-paced, non-contact version of the sport that emphasizes speed, agility, and strategy.
By embedding professional-level coaching into youth programming, the Carolina Predators are positioning themselves as a leader in player development while strengthening their regional footprint and fan engagement pipeline.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to developing the next generation of athletes while creating meaningful connections within our community,” said a Carolina Predators spokesperson. “We’re not just building players—we’re building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game.”
