Carolina Predators’ Jonathan Griffith and Max Elliott Garner AAL2 All-Defensive Team Honors
RALEIGH, NC — The Carolina Predators of the American Arena League 2 proudly announce that linebacker Jonathan Griffith has been named to the AAL2 First Team Defense, and defensive back Max Elliott has earned Second Team Defensive recognition for their outstanding performances during the 2025 season.
Jonathan Griffith (LB) — A force in the middle of the Predators’ defense, Griffith anchored opposition rushing attacks and frequently disrupted passing lanes. His leadership, tackling consistency, and playmaking skills earned him a spot on the elite First Team defensive roster.
Max Elliott (DB) — Operating with poise in the secondary, Elliott excelled in coverage, breakups, and run support. His ability to lock down receivers and contribute in blitz packages secured his well-deserved Second Team honors.
The AAL 2 All-Defensive Teams celebrate top defensive performers league-wide. First Team selections represent the very best at each defensive position; Second Team honors recognize those who were just a hair away from first-team status—a significant achievement in a competitive league.
Both Griffith and Elliott have been key contributors to the Predators’ sustained defensive success in their debut season in the AAL2. Their tenacity and consistency helped Carolina emerge as one of the league’s toughest opponents on that side of the ball.
The Carolina Predators congratulate Jonathan and Max on their well-earned honors and look forward to continued defensive dominance in 2026.
